RESOURCES Social Wellness

Who's Got Your Back?

When teaching gets tough, we all have our go-to people we turn to for support. Social wellness involves building connections and supportive relationships with your co-workers, students, friends, family, and community.

Social connection is one of the most powerful stress reducers. Professional, emotional, and motivational interactions all play a role in social connection. These interactions also play an important role in how we deal with daily challenges, especially in remote teaching classrooms.

AFMC created resources for us to discover ways we can interact with our students, schools, and communities.
