RESOURCES Psychological Wellness

Mind Full or Mindful?

Mindfulness and resilience go hand-in-hand. According to the American Psychological Association, psychological wellness can help build resilience through mindfulness practices like meditation, prayer, yoga, and mindful journaling. As teachers, these practices can help us connect with others, restore hope, and focus on positive aspects of our lives, even during personal challenges.

As teachers, we often feel like we have to give everything we’ve got. But sometimes that can be too much as we forget to take care of ourselves first.

AFMC designed these resources to share techniques, tips, and tricks to achieve psychological wellness.
